About this package

This panel is designed to answer not just whether uric acid is high but why, and what else it has affected. Kidney function reports uric acid and clearance, the liver panel shows the other major organ, and HbA1c and the lipid profile cover the metabolic partners of gout. Urine routine looks for crystals, protein and sugar. Rheumatoid factor helps separate other arthritis, vitamin D is included for bone health, and ESR, CRP and the blood count reflect inflammation. With 86 parameters, the report gives a single, detailed baseline for people with long-standing gout or complicated joint pain.

The most complete uric acid and gout work-up: kidney, liver, sugar, lipids, urine, rheumatoid factor, vitamin D and inflammation.

What does this package cover?

The 10 tests are grouped into 8 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 3 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

  • ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)

The rate at which red blood cells settle in a vertical tube over 60 minutes.

Diabetes & blood sugar 1 test

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Heart & cholesterol 1 test

Blood fats and inflammation markers that together indicate the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  • Lipid Profile

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated VLDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio.

Liver 1 test

Liver enzymes, bilirubin and proteins that show inflammation, fatty liver or reduced liver function.

  • Liver Function Test (LFT)

SGPT/ALT, SGOT/AST, ALP, GGT, total/direct/indirect bilirubin, total protein, albumin, globulin, and the A/G ratio.

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

Vitamins, bone & minerals 1 test

Vitamin D, B12, folate and the minerals and hormones that keep bones and nerves healthy.

  • Vitamin D (25-OH)

25-hydroxyvitamin D (the combined D2 + D3 form), which is the most accurate indicator of overall vitamin D status in the body.

Arthritis & autoimmune 1 test

Antibodies that help doctors assess rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

10 tests included (86 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 10 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 8 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹1,491 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with long-standing or recurrent gout, those on uric-acid-lowering treatment who need a full review, and anyone with gout plus diabetes, high cholesterol or kidney problems.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year for full review, with uric acid and kidney function checked more often during treatment.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC), CRP (C-Reactive Protein) and ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Heart & cholesterol - Lipid Profile
  • Liver - Liver Function Test (LFT)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test
  • Vitamins, bone & minerals - Vitamin D (25-OH)
  • Arthritis & autoimmune - RA Factor (Rheumatoid Arthritis)
  • Urine - Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

Why include the liver panel?

The liver handles many medicines, including some used to treat gout, and fatty liver is more common in people with high uric acid. A baseline guides safe treatment.

What does the urine test add?

It can show protein, sugar, blood or crystals, which hint at kidney involvement. A morning sample gives the most reliable result.

How should I prepare?

Fast for ten to twelve hours with water allowed, avoid alcohol for a day before, and bring a first-morning urine sample.

Is the rheumatoid factor test needed for gout?

It is there to separate rheumatoid arthritis, which can mimic gout. A negative result supports the gout diagnosis.
