About this package

This variant focuses on the urinary tract. A urine routine shows pus cells, bacteria and blood within hours, and the culture with sensitivity identifies the organism and the antibiotics that work. ESR and CRP show the inflammatory response and the blood count shows white cell changes. It is useful for fever with urinary symptoms, or for recurrent urinary infections, when the right antibiotic matters.

A fever and urinary infection panel: urine routine and culture, ESR, CRP and a blood count.

What does this package cover?

The 5 tests are grouped into 2 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 3 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

  • ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)

The rate at which red blood cells settle in a vertical tube over 60 minutes.

Urine 2 tests

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Culture & Sensitivity, Aerobic bacteria Urine (Manual method)

Culture & Sensitivity, Aerobic bacteria Urine (Manual method) is a microbiology culture. The sample is incubated to grow any organisms present and, where growth is found, tested against antibiotics to guide targeted treatment.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

5 tests included (52 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 5 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 2 health areas together, not in isolation
  • Samples collected at home; imaging at our Malad West lab
  • Costs ₹796 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with fever and urinary symptoms, recurrent urinary infections, or fever of unknown source.

How often should you get it done?

Only during illness, or after a course of treatment if your doctor wants proof of clearance.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC), CRP (C-Reactive Protein) and ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
  • Urine - Culture & Sensitivity, Aerobic bacteria Urine (Manual method) and Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • No fasting is required for this package.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What are the symptoms of a urinary infection?

Burning, frequent urgent passing of urine, cloudy or smelly urine, lower abdominal discomfort and sometimes fever. In older adults it may cause only confusion or tiredness.

Why test sensitivity?

Resistance to common antibiotics is rising, and the sensitivity report shows which medicines will work, helping your doctor prescribe accurately.

Is fasting needed?

No fasting is needed. Drink water normally before giving the sample.
