About this package

This sits between the basic food panel and the full version. It keeps the food allergen panel and total IgE as the core and adds ESR, a slow-moving marker of inflammation, to help separate allergic reactions from inflammatory causes of digestive and skin problems. The blood count shows whether eosinophils or other cell counts are changing. The report is most helpful when you can describe a pattern: which foods, how soon after eating, and how long symptoms last. Bring that history to your consultation so the numbers can be matched with real events.

Food allergen panel with total IgE, ESR and a blood count, for symptoms that may involve inflammation as well as allergy.

What does this package cover?

The 4 tests are grouped into 2 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)

The rate at which red blood cells settle in a vertical tube over 60 minutes.

Allergy 2 tests

Measures allergic (IgE) sensitisation to common food and inhaled triggers.

4 tests included (48 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 4 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 2 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹1,497 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with food-linked symptoms who also have joint, skin or bowel complaints that might point to inflammation.

How often should you get it done?

Once. Further testing depends on the first report.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
  • Allergy - Allergy Panel - Food (Veg & Non-Veg) and Total IGE

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • No fasting is required for this package.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What does a high ESR tell me?

It points to inflammation somewhere in the body, but not where. A high value with a negative food panel suggests that your doctor should look beyond allergy.

How is this different from the Basic version?

It adds ESR to the food panel, total IgE and blood count, giving an extra look at inflammation, useful when symptoms do not clearly follow meals.

Can children take this test?

Yes. Only a small blood sample is required.

Is preparation needed?

No fasting or special preparation is required.
