About this package

Dust allergy is among the most common reasons for year-round sneezing, morning congestion, itchy eyes and night-time cough, and it is often confused with a persistent cold. This panel starts with the dust allergen panel itself, then widens the net with the inhalant and food panels, because people who react to dust often react to other triggers as well. Total IgE gives the overall level of allergic activity, while the absolute eosinophil count and blood count show whether the body is mounting an allergic response. With a large panel like this, expect several positive results: the useful question for your doctor is which ones match your symptoms and where you live and sleep.

A broad allergy work-up focused on dust: a dust-mite panel, inhalant and food panels, total IgE and eosinophil count.

What does this package cover?

The 6 tests are grouped into 3 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

Allergy 4 tests

Measures allergic (IgE) sensitisation to common food and inhaled triggers.

Other tests 1 test

Additional tests included in this package.

  • Eosinophils - Absolute Count

Eosinophils - Absolute Count is a blood test. Eosinophils - Absolute Count is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a blood sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

6 tests included (73 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 6 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 3 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹4,245 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People who sneeze in the morning, wake with a blocked nose, wheeze at night, or react when cleaning, and parents of children with recurring cough or eczema.

How often should you get it done?

Usually once. If you move house or symptoms change, your doctor may advise a repeat after a long gap.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Allergy - Allergy - Dust Panel (BY IMMUNO - EIA), Allergy Panel - Food (Veg & Non-Veg), Allergy Panel - Inhalant and Total IGE
  • Other tests - Eosinophils - Absolute Count

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

Should I stop antihistamines before the test?

Blood allergy tests are not affected by antihistamines the way skin prick tests are. Still, share your medicine list with your doctor, and do not stop treatment without advice.

What does a high total IgE mean?

It indicates a general allergic tendency, and it can also be raised by parasitic infections. It does not name the allergen, which is why the specific panels are tested alongside it.

Does a positive dust result mean I must change my home?

Not necessarily. Your doctor will weigh symptoms against results. Simple steps like washing bedding in hot water and using mattress covers help many people.

Is fasting required?

No. Eat and drink as usual before the sample.
