About this package

Well Being Cardiac Panel is a 10-test health package with 72 parameters, covering thyroid, liver, kidney, heart and cholesterol and blood sugar. It includes Urine Complete, Iron Studies (Iron,TIBC, Transferrin saturation), LFT (Liver Function Test), CBC-Complete Hemogram Test(28) and 6 more. This is an outsourced test: your sample is collected by HWP Diagnostic and processed at our partner laboratory, General Diagnostics, which lets us keep the price low and flexible for you.

What does this package cover?

The 10 tests are grouped into 9 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • CBC - Complete Hemogram Test(28)

CBC - Complete Hemogram Test(28) is a blood test. CBC - Complete Hemogram Test(28) measures red cells, white cells, haemoglobin, haematocrit and platelets. It is a first-line screen for anaemia, infection, inflammation and overall health.

Iron & anaemia 1 test

Iron stores and red-cell production - the commonest causes of anaemia and tiredness.

  • Iron Studies (Iron,TIBC, Transferrin saturation)

Iron Studies (Iron,TIBC, Transferrin saturation) is a blood test. Iron Studies (Iron,TIBC, Transferrin saturation) is used in the work-up of anaemia to understand blood-cell production and iron status.

Diabetes & blood sugar 2 tests

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • Hba1c (Whole Blood)

Hba1c (Whole Blood) is a blood test. Hba1c (Whole Blood) measures blood glucose or a related marker to screen for, diagnose or monitor diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • Sugar (Glucose) Fasting

Sugar (Glucose) Fasting is a blood test. Sugar (Glucose) Fasting measures blood glucose or a related marker to screen for, diagnose or monitor diabetes and insulin resistance.

Heart & cholesterol 1 test

Blood fats and inflammation markers that together indicate the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  • Lipid Profile

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated VLDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio.

Liver 1 test

Liver enzymes, bilirubin and proteins that show inflammation, fatty liver or reduced liver function.

  • LFT (Liver Function Test)

LFT (Liver Function Test) is a blood test. LFT (Liver Function Test) is part of liver assessment. It helps detect inflammation, fatty liver, hepatitis and other conditions, often before symptoms appear.

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Profile - RFT (Maxi)

Kidney Profile - RFT (Maxi) is a blood test. Kidney Profile - RFT (Maxi) helps assess how well the kidneys filter waste and maintain fluid and electrolyte balance.

Thyroid 1 test

Thyroid hormones and antibodies - an under- or over-active thyroid affects weight, energy, mood and heart rate.

  • Thyroid Profile - Total T3,Total T4,TSH (TFT)

Thyroid Profile - Total T3,Total T4,TSH (TFT) is a blood test. Thyroid Profile - Total T3,Total T4,TSH (TFT) assesses thyroid function. Results help detect an under- or over-active thyroid, which can affect weight, energy, mood and heart rate.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Complete

Urine Complete is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a urine sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

Other tests 1 test

Additional tests included in this package.

  • GD Wellness Cardiac Risk Marker (5 Parameters)

How to prepare

  • Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.
