About this package

The adrenal glands make cortisol, the main stress hormone, and DHEAS, a precursor of sex hormones. This panel measures morning cortisol and ACTH, the pituitary signal that controls it, so doctors can tell whether the adrenals or the pituitary are responsible for an abnormal value. DHEAS, prolactin and TSH help rule out related hormone disorders that cause similar tiredness and menstrual or weight changes. CRP and the blood count are included to look for inflammation and anaemia as other explanations for exhaustion.

An adrenal and stress hormone panel: morning cortisol, ACTH, DHEAS, prolactin, TSH, CRP and a blood count, with no fasting.

What does this package cover?

The 7 tests are grouped into 4 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Thyroid 1 test

Thyroid hormones and antibodies - an under- or over-active thyroid affects weight, energy, mood and heart rate.

  • TSH Ultrasensitive

TSH Ultrasensitive is a blood test. A single, highly sensitive thyroid-stimulating hormone test to screen thyroid function.

Hormones & fertility 3 tests

Reproductive and adrenal hormones used to assess fertility, periods, PCOS and hormonal symptoms.

  • Cortisol (8:00 AM)

Cortisol (8:00 AM) is a blood test. Cortisol (8:00 AM) measures a hormone level to investigate glandular function and related symptoms such as fatigue, weight change or menstrual irregularity.

  • DHEA - Sulphate (DHEAS)

The concentration of DHEA-sulphate in the blood - a more stable marker of adrenal androgen production than testosterone alone, since it doesn’t fluctuate as much through the day.

  • Prolactin

Prolactin is a blood test. Prolactin measures a hormone level to investigate glandular function and related symptoms such as fatigue, weight change or menstrual irregularity.

Other tests 1 test

Additional tests included in this package.

  • ACTH (Adreno Corticotropic Hormone)

ACTH (Adreno Corticotropic Hormone) is a blood test. ACTH (Adreno Corticotropic Hormone) measures a hormone level to investigate glandular function and related symptoms such as fatigue, weight change or menstrual irregularity.

7 tests included (32 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • Looks at 4 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹2,144 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with unexplained fatigue, low blood pressure, weight change, dark skin patches, irregular periods or who were advised an adrenal check.

How often should you get it done?

Once for assessment, with repeats chosen by your endocrinologist.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Thyroid - TSH Ultrasensitive
  • Hormones & fertility - Cortisol (8:00 AM), DHEA - Sulphate (DHEAS) and Prolactin
  • Other tests - ACTH (Adreno Corticotropic Hormone)

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does cortisol need a morning sample?

Cortisol is highest around waking and falls through the day. A sample around 8 AM gives the most useful comparison with normal ranges.

Does stress alter the result?

Acute stress or poor sleep can raise cortisol on the day. Try to rest and sleep well the night before, and tell your doctor if the day was unusual.

Is fasting needed?

No fasting is needed, but book an early morning slot for the cortisol and ACTH samples.
