About this package

The standard monitoring set adds PTH and vitamin D to the basic follow-up tests. PTH is the first hormone to rise when the kidneys start to lose their mineral control, and vitamin D is often low, so together they warn early of bone and vessel problems before ordinary calcium changes. With the kidney function test, calcium, phosphorus and a blood count, it matches what most nephrologists ask for at regular visits.

A standard kidney disease monitoring panel: calcium, phosphorus, PTH, vitamin D, kidney function and a blood count.

What does this package cover?

The 6 tests are grouped into 3 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

Vitamins, bone & minerals 4 tests

Vitamin D, B12, folate and the minerals and hormones that keep bones and nerves healthy.

  • Calcium

Calcium is a blood test. Calcium is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a blood sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

  • Phosphorus

Phosphorus is a blood test. Phosphorus is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a blood sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

  • PTH - Intact (Parathyroid Hormone)

The concentration of intact parathyroid hormone in the blood, which is interpreted alongside calcium levels.

  • Vitamin D (25-OH)

25-hydroxyvitamin D (the combined D2 + D3 form), which is the most accurate indicator of overall vitamin D status in the body.

6 tests included (40 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 6 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 3 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹445 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with moderate chronic kidney disease who need routine mineral and bone monitoring.

How often should you get it done?

Every three to six months. Ask your doctor how soon to retest if any value is outside the range.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test
  • Vitamins, bone & minerals - Calcium, Phosphorus, PTH - Intact (Parathyroid Hormone) and Vitamin D (25-OH)

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • No fasting is required for this package.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

Why can calcium look normal while PTH is high?

PTH works to keep calcium normal, so it rises first. Calcium falls only later, when the body can no longer compensate.

Can I take vitamin D supplements on my own?

Dose and type matter in kidney disease, so take them only as your nephrologist advises.

Is fasting needed?

No fasting is needed. Bring any earlier reports so your doctor can compare them.
